There's a story behind it too... Ok. So, I spent FOREVER on this (like, 400 minutes+ (including a few short breaks)). I think it shows. I started before lunch, & didn't finish until sometime around dinner... n_n;;; The power flickered around 3:00 in the afternoon (central time) or so while I was working on this...scared the crap out of me. Thought I was going to lose it... ...And y'know, if I can do something like this without a tablet...just imagine what I'll be able to do -WITH- one... X] The sheer aspect of it... --- UPDATED 10/16/06 --- Drastically improved over the original- now that I DO have tablet, I was able to do a bit more with it. Plus, having the freedom of working in an image editor made it possible for MASSIVE TWEAKING!  I suppose you could consider it cheating to edit oekaki after the fact, but I say art isn't finished until the artist decides it. --- Y'know, it's intended as perspective, but I like to imagine she just has a giant hand...  |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure. Contest winners will be featured in a news article and a journal entry--as well as other fabulous prizes.
